Weekly Raid Tournament is a five-day (Monday to Friday) PvP event in which players compete for the best scores and get loot based on their final tier. Each tournament comes with its own special rules.
Preparation Phase[]
On Sunday, players have 24 hours to enter the competition and set a Defense Team that can be modified as during this time. After Preparation Phase ends and the actual Battles start, the Defense Team is locked and can not be changed. It is also not possible to participate in the Tournament unless one entered in Sundat.
Battle Phase[]
Once the Preparation Phase is complete and defense teams are locked, the Battle Phase begins on Monday morning. It lasts for 5 days and at the start of each day all remaining participants receive 5 flags (Raid Energy) to attack. Flags not used on a given day are lost and cannot be used on subsequent days.
Each attack awards points based on the Difficulty Bonus assigned to the opponent's Defense Team along with the number of enemy heroes defeated (partial points are awarded in losses). Whenever a player fails on 4 attacks during the tournament, they are knocked out and offered an opportunity to spend 75 Gems to reset their defeats and continue the tournament.
At the end of each day, each player's Defense Team is also awarded points based on their winning rate, even if a player is knocked out early and does not continue.
The system for selecting raid tournament opponents is yet to be analysed.
Team Restrictions[]
Each tournament has restrictions regarding the heroes and troops allowed that are permitted, related to star level and/o element. There is a predictable but not simple pattern.
Special Rules[]
There are three rotating Special Rules:
- Buff Booster: Each active buff on a Hero boosts their attack by 20%. This effect stacks with ordinary attack buffs.
- Rush Attack: Mana Speed for all Heroes is set to Very Fast
- Bloody Battle: Healing or resurrection has no effect
Choosing a team that takes best advantage of the special rules while also accommodating appropriately the star level and element restrictions of the tournament is necessary.
Tournament Loot[]
Loot awarded is randomized, though appearance rates and the amount awarded varies per tier.
