Monster Island is a developing Alliance-oriented event in which members are transported to the titular isle with the goal of exploring for treasure chests and face against the inhabitant fauna for points and keys.
Conditions[]
During the Monster Island Event, the alliance is tasked with exploring the map within sectors. Battles engaged in this event have a special set of rules:
- Permanent Damage
Damage received by youer Heroes in the event persists between attacks. 20% of the damage received by a Hero is Permanent Damage and can not be healed back during the event. - Revive Penalty
Each time a Hero is revived after being defeated, their remaining max health is further reduced by 50%. - Increased Damage Against Minions
Enemies deal +250% more damage to Heroes that have Minions. - Adjusted Boosted Healing
All boosted health is received as normal healing in the event. Heroes' Health cannot exceed their max health.
Heroes belonging to the Abyss Hunter, Plains Hunter, and Jungle Hunter Families receive an Event Bonus that gives:
- +20% attack, defense, and health
- 50% less permanent damage taken
- Stack (Max: 10): When this character casts their Special Skill, all enemies get -3% defense.
Exploration[]
The Map to Monster Island is divided into sectors, catagorized by an alphabetical letter and number that notes your location. All alliance members are set at the center of the map of E5, designated the Campsite. Every visit at the Campsite refreshes all battle items that have been used in Horde and Apex Battles, as well as allow players to change their Event Teams.
Each hexagonal tile panel denotes a region on the map that can water, jungle, reef, or desert. Movement between tiles makes use of the Monster Island Energy (capped at 1000). Explored tiles cost 1 MIE; unexplored panels require 25 MIE.
Across the island, alliances can discover Relic Chests that, when unlocked, provide powerful Relics that benefit all players in the alliance. They provide benefits in battles, growing stronger when multiples of the same relic are collected by other players. The island also bears Treasure Chests that, when unlocked, have their contents revealed at the conclusion of the event. Both sets require a Chest Key that have a chance to be dropped upon defeating a horde or apex monster that exist in distant sectors.
