Iron Storages provide place for iron after it is collected from mines before it can be used. The game starts with one Iron Storage and second is built in the tutorial; leveling up the Stronghold allows to build three more at levels 5, 8 and 15. This means that there is a maximum of 5 storages total; 3 of these can be (after upgrading to level 20) converted to Advanced Iron Storage at Stronghold levels 21, 22 and 24. (When calculating capacity, it must be remembered that the Stronghold 10k iron as well as Food.)
Iron Storage Space & Upgrade Costs[]
Upgrading most buildings costs iron. Each new level for the Iron Storage increases the amount of iron it can store.
