Hou is one of the 16 basic 
Uncommon Heroes.
As such, he is barely mentioned on the Forum, although the Special Skill "Defensive Tactics" (shared with 
Ice Olaf) makes them moderately useful in the early phases of the game when enemies are rather strong compared to available Heroes, so the significant defense increase can ensure they are not killed in one strike. However, Hou competes for Class Emblems as well as the 
Holy slot in the team with Bane who is in every roster by default.
