Dynasty of Dunes

Introduced on April 21, 2022, Small Giant Games unlocked 3 provinces to the fifth season, Dynasty of Dunes. Completing stages for the first time rewards 3 Dunes Coins on Normal difficulty and 5 on Hard difficulty. The Season 5 map becomes accessible after reaching Season 4 Province 5.

The Dunes Map will be updated as new provinces are released.

Provinces & Coins

Season 5 stages all feature elite enemies in every wave, with their own Special Skill and passive abilities or innate resistances to a variety of debuffs.

Players are able to advance through the stages through the use of a new object called amulets. Amulets provide a small buff to Heroes during battle in any stage. They can be obtained through completion of specific provinces that have them, alongside the slots that the amulets are placed.

Event Heroes

As of Version 49, using Dunes Heroes in any stages within the Season V Map gives them a +20% stat bonus that is exclusive to this map.

Families

Families give bonuses for each unique Hero of the same family in battle.
The families are called the “Sun Family” and the “Moon Family” which have the below effects:

Sun family:
Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family. Bonus for 1/2 Heroes: • 10% / 20% chance to make a cast -35% accuracy for 2 turns and X Burn damage over 2 turns on an enemy who deals Special Skill damage to this character. • If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 50%/75% Values: X = 98 for Legendary Heroes 72 for Epic Heroes 56 for Rare Heroes
Moon family:
Heroes become stronger when teamed with other unique Heroes of the same family. Bonus for 1/2 Heroes: • 10% / 20% chance to make a cast -24% defense for 2 turns and X Water damage over 2 turns on an enemy who deals Special Skill damage to this character. • If the enemy’s Special Skill defeats this character, the chance is 50%/75% Values: X = 98 for Legendary Heroes 72 for Epic Heroes 56 for Rare Heroes

Judgment of Dunes

In late November 2023, as part of Version 62, Judgment of Dunes was released and revealed as a special event in conjunction to the arrival of the Dunes Summon. All World Energy across the Season V Map received reduced cost to replay, alongside the chance to encounter the new rare Dunes Scarab in place of a common enemy for the stages.

Dune Scarabs have the chance to drop 2 to 10 Dunes Coins but are limited to the appearance rate of 15 per day the Event is active. Players that purchase a Monster Lure have the cap increased, the chances of scarabs to replace enemies in battle, and the amount of coins obtained from the defeated scarabs.
