Basil was introduced when the Covenant Quest continued on December 23, 2022.
Basil is now a hero in the new Monster Island Summon that premiered May 23, 2024 as a part of Update 67. The hero did not change stats but the card lost the jungle vine adornment and now has a plain border. The old card is retained for perusal of the differences.
